Spring 2012 in Ohio

Well, here we are on Mother's Day 2012.  Happy Mother's Day to all of the mom's who have blessed our lives!

Below is a hodge-podge of pictures from the past few months.  They are not in order but at least they're here to see :).

Easter morning!
Our only family Easter picture this year.
Taya had a playdate a few weekends ago.  This is a friend from school, Charlie.

Just a random evening before Rory got his hair cut.  This is from a few months ago.

 Easter

We traveled to Palm Springs, CA the last weekend of March (the weekend before Easter).  We had a blast spending time with Grammy and Grandma Cena.  We took the Tram to the top of the mountains and also went swimming and golfed.  Unfortunately all of the pictures we took are on Grammy's camera so they or may not show up on the blog in the future.  On our last day there Rory came down with a rash and we came home to his whole class having hand, foot, and mouth disease.  Although Rory didn't have any sore in his mouth and had blisters all over his body, the consensus is that he also had it.

We spent Easter at our home.  Ethan smoked a pork loin and we had several sides and a peach cake for dessert.

We have been keeping very busy around here.  Ethan has been graciously and diligently working on finishing our basement.  As of today it has been insulated, dry walled, textured, primed, and painted (SW Blonde, our favorite).  The next step will be flooring which we are still trying to decide between carpet or a laminate (cost being a major factor).  It is coming together quite nicely and Ethan's doing a great job!  I have continued to work my 2 "main" jobs while growing Everyday Nutrition.  I will be adding more hours at Village Family Medicine and have been contacted by several other people interested in collaborating.  I feel blessed to be able to fulfill a dream of mine and hope that soon it can become my "main" job so that I can spend more time with the kids.

God's Peace to each of you!!

Western Nebraska Christmas 2011

More updates to the blog.  Apparently from Monday until now, blogger updated it's format so we'll see how this goes :).

We spent an early Christmas in Ogallala with my (Tracy's) side of the family.  The kids had a great time together and still today (5 months later), Taya says she misses Beau and Jayden and is ready to visit them in 'braska again.

Grammy and her "grands".

What girl doesn't love new shoes?!

Rory got hungry before we were done opening gifts.

 Wade's dog, Taylor

 "Go Huskers"

Rory absolutely loves dogs and he really loves big dogs.  He had a blast.
Take note of the cowboy boots!
 Crazy bedhead

Rory doesn't quite know what to think of Uncle Wade

 Jillian, Beau, Wade, Jayden

These are out of order but on our way to Nebraska we stopped in Muscatine, Iowa to visit my cousin Katie and her girls.  God always blesses our very short visits and it worked out well to make a pit stop.

Taya, Bree, Rory, Emma

Ok, back to Christmas in Ogalalla
Beau and Jayden got big kid bikes.

 Christmas morning!
