This week Taya has had more "naked time". She lays in the living room staring at whatever stuffed toy we put out for her.

Taya and Omi stayed back at the shop. It was quite breezy and chilly. This is not the only time Taya slept today (probaby because she didn't sleep well last night).

Today we had a Bradley reunion and met with all of our classmates (except two that couldn't make it). In one of my previous posts in June there is a picture of all of us pregnant in order of due date and here is the product!

To end-cap our day we went for a walk. It was my turn to try out the Baby Bjorn. It works really well because Taya already likes to lay against our chests and cuddle up.

Hi there! Just a few pictures for the week.

For something new, we tried out the 'Baby Bjorn' carrier that we received from my co-workers. The first time was a disaster because Taya was hungry. Once we fed her she was fine and we had a very enjoyable walk. Taya actually slept almost the whole time.

Grammy was also here for a few days. We kept busy with some appointments (hair, pedicure, mall, Target). I actually decided to go with a "mom" haircut, although you'll have to wait for a picture. Sorry!

Nima has a few games she likes to play with dad-o and now whenever Taya is laying on the floor, Nima thinks they should play together. I was able to capture a picture of them today.

Taya has been a little congested the past few days. It started Thursday evening...she was very fussy. Friday morning she didn't want to be put down. Luckily Grammy was still here so I was able to get a few things done. I ended up holding her most of the morning, but she finally went down for a few naps in the afternoon. It's a little nerve-wracking going to bed when she has a stuffed-up nose. She is starting to feel better, but she is currently cuddling with her daddy.

Tomorrow we are planning to go to Nebraska City to an orchard to get some apples and spend some time outside. Omi and Papa are going with us. Later in the afternoon we have a Bradley reunion with the other couples from our class. We're excited to meet the babies that we haven't already met.

Grammy emailed to tell us that Taya's cousin Jayden is very excited to meet her. Apparently, Jayden thinks she is Taya's big sister and she calls her Tata (like tater). Jayden wants to read, color, and play Candyland with Taya. They will get to meet at our baby shower on Sep. 26.

Super September Sunday

**I forgot to rotate a few of the pictures, so just rotate your head :)
We had a wonderful day today, despite the Colts losing (but the Jets won!). We went for a walk then decided to spend more time outside (note the photos below). We grilled out and made s'mores over the charcoal grill. Today marked Taya's first bottle (filled with breastmilk, of course), which was a little hard on me, but dad enjoyed the chance to feed her. We plan to offer a bottle once a day to prepare Taya for daycare. We visited a daycare on Friday and decided to enroll Taya there (Donna's Little Darlings) after some confusion at St. Cecilia's. We are happy with our decision. I only have two weeks left of my maternity leave and am getting sad already. I'm glad I will have some transition time during my 6 weeks of part-time status.
I also want to congratulate my cousin Katie and Shane on the arrival of Emma Eloise on Sept. 3.
