Baby stuff

Hi! No baby just yet. Ethan thinks by next weekend we will have our little one. One of my co-workers said she would bet $20 I go into labor on Sunday night. I guess we will see. I think I am now mentally prepared, so I should be ready when the time comes. Up until yesterday I was still feeling pretty nervous. I think I'm just scared of the "unknown" but I know my body was meant to do this, so I will just have to let it!

Wednesday my c0-workers threw me a baby shower. We were blessed to have so many stop by and received many more nice gifts. One of the technicians decorates cakes and made a very adorable one for me.

On Thursday I received a package in the mail from my cousin Katie. I knew she was designing and making a diaper bag for me, so I was very excited to see how it turned out. WE LOVE IT!!! She has been doing this for a few years now and has made many cute ones, but this one is by far my favorite (which is good, since I will be using it!). Once she posts some pictures on her blog of it, I will post more, but I have put a few below. Thanks Kt :)!

Ethan is out golfing this morning, so Nima and I slept in until 9:00. It was so nice! I baked myself some cinnamon rolls which I am eating as I type. Today I have to clean up our bedroom and make room for the co-sleeper then finish lining drawers of the baby furniture and put things away. Ethan and I plan to go get a few more things from Babies R Us, including a Boppy (for nursing) and possibly the breast pump. I also need to get a baby book at Hallmark. Ethan has been cleaning up our basement and has made me a nice laundry area and is now painting the floor. It doesn't look like a dungeon anymore! His plan is to finish that up this afternoon.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. We still need a lot of them!

Baby cake...........................
38 weeks, 1 day with my baby cake

The new diaper bag and quilt with the stroller. It's kind of hard to tell, but they go together really well!!..................................

Ethan went to get the hutch early last week and put it up. It looks really nice.

A view of the stroller without the carrier.

A very bad photography job of our carrier. Ethan put it in the car already and I was too lazy to take it out this morning. You get the idea though.

Another view of the carrier in the car. It has been a little strange driving around with it all week, but I'm used to it now!

Ethan made himself a shirt (actually the top to a pair of scrubs) to wear at the birth. It's pretty cool (you will see it in pictures after the birth), but this is how Nima helped.
