Taya was looking pretty cute the day we went to tour some day care centers.
Doin' a little dance...
Some outside time in the pool. This girl loves water and she's not afraid of it.
This really captures Taya's scrunchy face. I love the gap in her teeth and the way she looks like a total cheeser. This is one of the faces she uses to "cute" people. She did it through most of Mass today.
Just loungin'. She put her lawn chair in herself.
Done swimming but now it's time to get the hair wet...
...which creates a horn.
We went to Lowes and found the "sad rack" as Ethan and I call it. It's the rack with all the sad looking flowers that are on deal. We were slow getting the front bed finished. Here is before the flowers but after we got planters for the urns and mulch.
We had a great helper.
Instead of taking them to the flower bed she lined them on the front step to count them.
In the midst of work.
After planting. Now the problem with the sad plants is we didn't get the instant gratification of seeing all the wonderful color in front but we are hopeful that with some water and TLC they will look gorgeous. We planted zinnias, dahlias, marigolds, and lilies. We went with a yellow/orange color scheme.
Dad and his wonderful helper.
Our own Miss Indepence :). Really mom? I'm trying to talk on the phone...
"Ok, I'll smile for ONE picture."
We decided to go to the Hilliard parade. It was warm but Taya really enjoyed it. She would clap and wave at the people on the floats and she got a few pieces of candy. We didn't get there until about 10 minutes before it started so we missed the good spots on the street but we found a shady spot pretty close.
After a long, hot afternoon in the sun all a girl needs is "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse", a cool drink, and a recliner.
Well, I'm over 19 weeks now.
No new stats (we go back to the doctor on July 21st for our ultrasound).
Fresh fruit is amazingly still one of my big cravings, especially watermelon, cantaloupe, and peaches. Lucky for me Ethan is really good at picking out fresh fruit.
However, I will warn you not to leave me alone with a bag of chips (especially sour cream and onion or sour cream and cheddar) and I also polished of some PB Twix with no problem (and I want more).
Below, the latest pic of my baby bump.
